Center for the Application of Substance Abuse Technologies Mental Health Awareness Campaign

Print, web, email, social

The goal of this campaign was to empower University of Reno students to engage in help-seeking behavior, and encourage them to be more mindful of their strengths and where they may need extra support. In addition, we promoted connection and seeking professional help and resources.

The concept of the campaign is based off face-to-face time being essential for human connection and social development. Not only with others, but with the self as well. Looking into a mirror can help to sort through feelings of stress, worry, anxiety, and other complex emotions. Similarly, finding a trusted confidant who can help reflect on what you’re going through can help navigate tough feelings. With the reflective pattern and holographic textures we invoke holding up a mirror for students to take a kinder approach to their mental health and encourage them to reach out to to someone who can help them get through challenging times.

We designed posters to display around campus, a social campaign, an email campaign, a landing page, and a set of stickers.
